What's with all the nudes?

During this evening program for adults, we will explore big questions about the visual arts polled from OM°A social media followers. Enjoy an art appreciation presentation, facilitated discussions, gallery connections, and a themed cocktail. Whether you're a connoisseur or a novice, prepare to analyze and interpret the visual arts in new ways. Bring a date or come alone and meet new friends! Beer and wine will also be available. This program will be presented by Associate Curator of Education & Outreach, David Matteson and Cocktail Specialist, Old Fashioned Dan.

Tracing back to the classical ideal of Ancient Greece, the nude figure is an enduring subject explored within Western art. We will consider the evolution of this practice through a variety of historic and contemporary artworks including exhibited works by Simone Pignoni and Philip Pearlstein.
